Haneda to Shinjuku - late night transfer

Hello, I am arriving at Haneda airport at 22:20 Sunday evening 19th March, It is my first visit to Japan. I have read various websites and also the different threads on TokyoCheap - one having recently closed, but they don’t quite answer my query.

Taxi’s seem expensive and it is unclear whether the last bus runs to Shinjuku at 22.40 or if there is a later, night bus. Could someone clarify for me please?

If there is no late bus (after 22.40) and we take the train, it seems that we must change at Shinagawa for the Yamanote line. As we will have luggage with us with that be easy? Will we have far to walk to change lines?

Here’s the bus timetable in English Limousine Bus by Airport Transport Service Co., Ltd.
Looks like the last regular bus is at 23:40, then it switches to the slightly more expensive night bus.

You can buy tickets online from this site

Hope that helps!

Yes, it does. Thank you so much for helping.
